5 A Side Football Tournament

Stott Carpentry were delighted to take part in the White City Living Football Tournament on 14th September 2021.

The tournament was arranged by St James in support of Key4Life, a charity whose mission is ‘TO GIVE YOUNG OFFENDERS & THOSE AT RISK A BRIGHT FUTURE’.  More information on Key4Life is available on their website https://key4life.org.uk

Our team was made up of Umar Rawat, Liam McCarthy, Arturs Airapetovs, Maciej Czarnieck, Catalin Ioan and Liam Foster, a good mix of Apprentices, Management & Commercial staff with Catalin representing the carpenters!  The team was managed by Shaun Cooney.

Unfortunately, owing to poor choice of tactics by Shaun and some bad luck we were knocked out at the Group Stages.  Applications for the head coach role for next year are now open !!

Liam McCarthy was our top scorer and was awarded (Stott Carpentry) player of the tournament – Congratulations Liam!

Well done to Cilantro Engineering on their very impressive win.  They put on a very entertaining display in the final and were worthy winners.
